The perfect place for searching for fairies and dolphins

Just north of Inverness, we can arrange a stay in the Black Isle. So called because of the fertile soil beloved by farmers and actually not an island, the Black Isle was for many years the home of the north’s fishing fleet. Visit old fishing villages, try your luck in the Fairy Glen or at the local Clootie Well and make your way through to the ancient town of Cromarty, now a favourite of famous crime writer Ian Rankin. While you’re there, check out the dolphins in the Moray Firth – they pretty much always come up for a look when visitors are around.
