Yes, this is the island that the legendary heroine Flora MacDonald took Bonnie Prince Charlie over the sea to as he escaped from the British Army in 1746 –a story now captured in the globally successful Outlander TV and book series. The Isle of Skye is the stage for this and many other daring tales of bravery and tragedy throughout the centuries. With us, you can visit the Fairy pools, get a real sense of history at the home of the MacLeod clan, Dunvegan Castle, and wonder at the natural beauty of the Old Man of Storr, a pillar of ancient Caledonian rock that rises almost statue like from the ground.
